Baloney Detection Kit

Here is a response to a video about the Baloney Detection Kit and the Harwood model.

The Baloney Detection Kit was formed by a skeptic, Michael Shermer.  This is obvious in his answers.  He challanges every thing.  His scientific philosophy is not simply to learn new things about science. It is to poke holes in other people's ideas and challange them.   The Harwood model is different.  It covers the basics behind the Baloney Detection Kit, but it does not have a the skepticism.  The Harwood model works with the grain, while the Baloney Detection Kit works against the grain.
I believe that if a scientist takes ideals from both models together, they will achieve better results.  The thorough steps in the Harwood model are very important to the scientific process.  However, it would not truly be science if there was not the against the grain thinking found within the Baloney Dection Kit.
